Dates of inspection: 24 November 2025. Mia Care Services Ltd is a domiciliary care provider, providing personal care to people in their own homes. At the time of this inspection, there were 22 people receiving personal care, adults and children. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. The last rating for this service was good [published 15 July 2022]. We undertook this responsive assessment to follow up on some concerns we received about how the provider managed risk to people. For this inspection, we reviewed all 15 quality statements related to the 2 key questions, Is the service safe and well-led? For those key questions not inspected, we used the ratings awarded at their last inspection to calculate the overall rating. Based on the findings of this inspection, the overall rating remains good. People using the service, and their relatives told us they felt safe in the presence of care staff. They said staff did as much as reasonably expected to keep them safe from avoidable harm. Staff understood safeguarding procedures and how to keep people safe, including from potential risks. The provider operated safe staff recruitment practices and there were enough staff employed to keep people safe. Staff received appropriate training and support they needed to perform their roles and responsibilities well. We received positive feedback about the culture of the service, from people, relatives and healthcare professionals. Staff and people said their views were considered and taken on board. There were effective governance procedures in place to ensure the quality of service remained good. Managers and staff worked closely with local community health and social care professionals to support people.
