· Safe recruitment processes including DBS checks and robust induction, training and competency-checking frameworks were in place.
· Staff were well-trained in safeguarding, medicines management, infection control, MCA and positive behaviour support.
· Strong leadership with an open-door culture; registered manager maintained daily oversight through audits, spot checks and stakeholder engagement.
