· Effective induction including two-week shadowing period ensured staff competency before working independently

The service demonstrated consistent strengths in person-centred care, staff training and support, safe medicines management, and proactive partnership working with healthcare professionals.

· People and relatives consistently reported feeling safe and spoke positively about staff, with high continuity of care workers.
· Staff were well-trained, supported through supervision and annual appraisals, and demonstrated competency in care delivery.
· Care plans were personalised, person-centred, and regularly reviewed in line with changing needs.
· Medicines were managed safely with governance systems in place to identify and address recording errors.
