My Homecare Bournemouth is a domiciliary care service providing a regulated activity of personal care. The service was providing care and support to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of this inspection, there were 2 people using the service and receiving personal care. This was the first inspection for the service since their registration; therefore, we included all the quality statements under each of the five key questions. The inspection took place between 18 November and 20 November 2025, we visited the office on 18 November 2025. People were protected from avoidable harm as systems and processes operated effectively. Recruitment, induction and training procedures were robust and there were enough staff to meet people’s needs. The registered manager personally assured themselves staff had the necessary skills and knowledge to provide care. People received their medicines as prescribed and there were safe processes in place to ensure this was carried out correctly. Safeguarding procedures were in place. The service learned from accidents, incidents and events. People had access to health and social care professionals to ensure their wellbeing was supported. People were involved in making decisions about their care and care was reviewed regularly. Care plans and risk assessments were person centred, and enabled staff to support people with their lives. People’s rights were fully respected, and consent was sought. Staff were kind and caring, treating people with dignity and respect. Staff felt appreciated and were passionate about their role.
