Care South Home Care Services Dorset is a domiciliary care service providing a regulated activity of personal care. The service was providing care and support to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. The inspection was carried out between 13 and 22 October 2025. We visited the office on13 and 15 October 2025. At the time of the inspection the service was supporting 90 people who were receiving personal care. Care South Home Care Services Dorset offered various services to people which included short term support and a service designed to support people return home after a hospital stay. We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. People were involved in their care.Safeguarding procedures were in place to ensure people were protected from avoidable harm. People were supported by a consistent staff team. This supported continuity of care.People had care plans and risk assessments in place and care provision was person centred.Staff received training and supervision.People’s medicines were well managed by trained and competent staff.
