   Northumbria Supported Living Service was rated Good overall at inspection on 7 June 2023, with both Safe and Well-led key questions rated Good. The service demonstrated strong person-centred care, effective risk and medicines management, and an open, well-led culture focused on people's goals and aspirations.

   Strengths

   • · Person-centred risk assessments balanced personal freedoms with safety, and documentation was detailed and up to date.
   • · Medicines were managed safely with regular competency assessments and audits; errors were used as learning opportunities.
   • · Staffing levels were safe with strong continuity; the majority of staff had worked at the service for a number of years.
   • · Effective infection prevention and control policies in place; people supported to take responsibility for daily chores.
   • · Open, person-centred culture with strong registered manager relationships with staff and external professionals.
