We carried out our assessment of this service between 12 January 2026 to 15 January 2026. Hennis Joe Limited provides care to people living in their own home. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social provided. At the time of the assessment there was 2 people receiving personal care. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. Right support, right care, right culture is the statutory guidance which supports CQC to make assessments and judgements about services providing support to people with a learning disability and/or autistic people. At the time of the inspection, the location did not provide care or support for anyone with a learning disability or an autistic person. However, we assessed the care provision under Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture, as it is registered as a specialist service for this population group. This was a planned assessment of all quality statements under the key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.This service registered with us on 14 November 2021, and this was their first assessment. The service has been rated good following this assessment. Care plans lacked detailed information or had not been completed for individual risks. The provider’s governance systems had not been effective in identifying or addressing the areas for improvement we found during this assessment. However, staff demonstrated a good understanding of how to support people safely, and feedback from staff suggested they knew people well and could describe how they managed risks in practice. Staff received an induction and training before starting work, so they knew what to do when they started working with people. The provider valued diversity within the workforce and staff development. Staff supported people to live healthier lives and where possible, reduce their future needs for care and support.
