Date of inspection: 10 to 14 November 2025. Spectrum Homecare Ltd is a is a domiciliary care agency providing regulated activity to children and adults living in their own homes. At the time of our inspection, 35 people were using the service and receiving the regulated activity of personal care. This is the first inspection for this service. Staff provided safe care to meet people’s needs, people’s care plans were regularly reviewed and updated when required. Medicines were managed safely, and we found there was enough staff available to meet people's needs. Staff had been recruited safely and had received training appropriate to their roles. The provider planned and delivered people’s care with them, and staff made appropriate referrals to external agencies to ensure people were safely supported. Staff understood the importance of gaining people’s consent prior to supporting people with their care and were knowledgeable on the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Staff had a good understanding of the people they were supporting and told us how they ensured the care they provided respected people’s dignity. People confirmed the service was responsive to their needs and staff told us they felt supported in their roles. The provider made it easy for people to share feedback and ideas and advocated for people when needed to ensure they received the right level of support. We found a positive culture in the service which focused on providing person centered care and support for people. The registered manager demonstrated a good oversight of the service through the systems they had in place which ensured regular audits took place to drive service improvement.
