Date of assessment: 8 May to 20 May 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to people within their own homes including older people, adults who may be living with dementia, people that have a mental health condition or a physical disability. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. People received an individualised service that was developed with them at the centre. People’s well-being was promoted, and external referrals were made to support and enhance people’s well-being and health requirements. There was a joined up collaborative way of working with relevant healthcare professionals who all spoke highly of the agency. People were treated with kindness and compassion from staff who maintained and promoted their independence. Staff knew people well and had been trained to meet their needs including any specialist needs. There was an open and transparent culture where staff were keen to learn and develop in their role. The management team provided staff with regular opportunities to provide feedback and receive constructive feedback. The management team completed a wide range of checks and audits ensuring people and their relatives had the opportunity to raise any concerns or make suggestions for improvements that could be made. Changes were made as a result of people’s feedback to improve the quality of care people received. The management team were committed to ensuring people received a truly person-centred service.
