Date of assessment: 12 and 14 August 2025. Bromley Mind - Mindcare is a domiciliary care agency. Bromley Mind - Mindcare is a carers' respite and sitting service which provides support and some personal care to people living with dementia within their own homes. At the time of our assessment there were 25 people using the service. Not everyone using Bromley Mind - Mindcare receives a regulated activity personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. Where staff do support people with personal care, we also consider any wider social care provided. This assessment was carried out because of the length of time since our last rating. The last rating for this service was Good (published 31 January 2018). At this assessment we found people received exceptional care in some key questions and have rated the key questions of Caring, Responsive and Well-led as Outstanding. There was strong management and leadership within the service which put people first. Staff were proud to work for the service and felt supported and valued for their work. There was a clear positive culture within the service which was demonstrated by the attitudes of staff and management and from feedback received from people. People were respected and valued as individuals and were empowered to be fully involved in their care. Staff treated people with dignity and respect and spent time getting to know them and their needs before providing person led support. There was a genuine person-centred culture, and staff displayed empathy and worked with people and their relatives to understand how best to support them. There were effective strong and inclusive systems in place, with a focus on openness, transparency, and learning. There were clear and effective systems of governance in place to review and monitor all aspects of performance within the service.
