Meeting the Needs Limited, a newly registered domiciliary care agency in Redbridge, received a Good rating across all five key questions at its first CQC inspection in April 2023. The service demonstrated safe and person-centred care, effective staff recruitment and training, and sound governance foundations appropriate for its early stage of operation.
Strengths
· Risks were assessed and risk assessments completed for falls, skin integrity, and individual health conditions with control measures in place.
· Medicines managed safely with MAR charts and medicine support plans in place.
· Pre-employment checks including DBS, references, health declarations and right to work carried out for all staff.
· Staff trained in safeguarding, infection control, and mandatory areas; induction included shadowing the registered manager.
· Care plans were person-centred, regularly reviewed, and involved people and relatives in decisions.
