This service is a domiciliary care agency. It provides personal care to people living in their own homes within an extra care scheme. Extra care housing is purpose-built or adapted single household accommodation in a shared site or building. The accommodation is rented and is the occupant’s own home. People’s care and housing are provided under separate contractual agreements. CQC does not regulate premises used for extra care housing; this assessment looked at people’s personal care and support service. The service provides support for older adults. At the time of our assessment, 38 people were using the service. Date of assessment: 30 April 2025. This assessment was carried out due to the length of time since the previous assessment in December 2019. The last rating for the service was good. At this assessment, the rating remains good. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. The provider identified possible risks in relation to people’s health and wellbeing with risk management plans developed to provide guidance for care workers. The provider had a recruitment process to identify suitable care workers with the required skills. The provider had quality assurance procedures which enabled them to monitor the care provided.
