Date of Assessment: 3 October 2025 to 16 October 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing care and support to people living in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the inspection, 55 people were receiving support from the service. Service users consistently reported feeling safe and well cared for by staff, with relatives expressing confidence in the service’s ability to respond effectively during emergencies. The provider demonstrated a commitment to person-centred care by tailoring support to individual needs, preferences, and backgrounds. Care planning was collaborative and responsive, with regular reviews and adjustments made to reflect changing circumstances. Staff were proactive in promoting independence and choice, using creative communication methods and ensuring that people remained involved in decisions about their care. Operationally, the service maintained high standards through effective teamwork, open communication, and partnerships with health professionals. Feedback and complaints were actively encouraged and addressed. The provider also ensured accessibility by offering information in formats suited to individual needs, reinforcing their inclusive and responsive approach to care.

Roche Homecare is a domiciliary care agency supporting people with personal care living in their own homes.This assessment was prompted due to the length of time since our last assessment. At the time of the inspection, 55 people were receiving support from the service. Recruitment processes were robust. Staff were knowledgeable and knew how to report any safeguarding concerns and incidents were investigated with actions taken to mitigate future risks. People were safely supported by staff with medicine administration. Risk assessments were in place to guide staff on how best to support people and their needs. The service supported people to access external health care professionals when required. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives. The ethos at the service supported this. Care was person-centred and promoted people's dignity, privacy and human rights. There was a clear vision and culture focused on high-quality, person-centred care. Staff felt supported and valued, and there were effective systems in place for governance and continuous improvement. At the last assessment, the service was rated requires improvement overall, with requires improvement in the domains of safe and well-led. Effective, caring and responsive were rated good. At this assessment, the rating has improved to good, in all 5 domains and overall.

People reported feeling safe and staff were largely positive about management support, but systemic failures in auditing, training oversight, supervision, and complaints recording meant the service could not demonstrate consistent safe and well-led care.
