This was the first assessment of the service, carried out from 27 March to 8 April 2026 as part of routine inspection activity. Rolling Hearts Care Ltd is a domiciliary care agency providing support to people living in their own homes, including older people and people with physical and mental health needs. At the time of the assessment, 4 people were using the service. People received safe, effective, compassionate and person‑centred care that supported positive outcomes. Care was delivered by a small and consistent staff team, which helped build trusting relationships and supported continuity, particularly for people living with dementia or receiving end‑of‑life care. People and their relatives spoke positively about staff kindness, patience and responsiveness, and said they felt confident staff would act promptly if concerns arose. There were effective systems to assess needs, manage risks and review care. Care plans were personalised, regularly reviewed and reflected people’s preferences, cultural and religious needs, and family involvement. Staff worked well with health and social care professionals to support coordinated care and timely responses to changes in people’s health. Outcomes included improved confidence with mobility, emotional reassurance and comfort at the end of life. Managers promoted an open, supportive culture focused on learning and improvement. Governance arrangements, including audits, supervision, spot checks and incident review, provided oversight of quality and safety. These systems helped identify areas for development and supported continuous improvement.
