Date of assessment: 31st December 2025 – 6th February 2026. Lambeth Chinese Community Association is a care at home service providing support to, older people, people living with a physical disability and people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment there were 9 people using the service. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. At the time of the assessment, the service was not supporting any autistic people or people with a learning disability. (but the provider had regard to ‘Right support, right care, right culture) At this assessment, the service has been rated requires improvement . The service employed enough staff to keep people safe. Staff had worked at the service for many years and knew people well. We found records of staff’s full employment history was not documented. Staff had not received relevant training to support people’s care needs. People had care plans and risk assessments in place; however, some care plans did not contain enough information to fully inform staff how to support people with their care needs. The service was in breach of regulation in relation to safe care and treatment, staffing and good governance. We asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment.
