The agency supported some people with companionship and social activities. At the time of our assessment, 1 person was receiving personal care. The assessment included a visit to the service on 8 July 2025. This was the first assessment since the service was registered with us on 16 August 2022. We have rated the service good. The service is registered to provide support to older and younger adults, including people with a learning disability. At the time of our assessment, no one with a learning disability was receiving support with personal care. However, as part of our assessment we have looked at whether the provider could demonstrate they had the systems in place to support people with a learning disability when needed. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. The provider was able to demonstrate they were meeting the principles of Right support, right care, right culture. People received good quality care and support. Staff assessed the risks to people’s safety and wellbeing. People received medicines on time and as prescribed. There were systems to respond when things went wrong, including safeguarding concerns. Staff assessed people’s needs and planned person-centred care. Staff were well trained and had the information and support they needed to care for people safely and well. There were systems to ensure good communication between staff. People consented to their care and treatment. Staff were kind and polite. They supported people to make choices. Staff encouraged people to be independent when possible. People using the service were happy with their care. Staff felt happy and well supported. The provider ensured people had the information they needed about the service. People were able to speak up and raise a complaint if they needed. There were effective systems for monitoring and improving the quality of the service. The registered manager worked in partnership with others to provide care which reflected good practice.
