Date of Assessment: 4, 16 and 17 July 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing support to young people in their own homes and in the community. Not everyone who used the service received the regulated activity of personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This relates to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. There were 4 young people receiving a regulated activity at the time of our inspection. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. The service was exceptional at making sure people were at the centre of their care and support choices. The young people received highly personalised care and support from dedicated, trained and supported staff who knew them very well. Staff genuinely cared for the young people they supported. A staff member told us, “It’s an absolute honour and a privilege to take [young people] out in the community and give them a happy healthy life. Their world is so small and we can open it up for them, just make it a little bit larger. Explain their day to their parents and see their faces light up.” Young people received high-quality consistent support from staff who knew them well. The service was proud they had never had to cancel a support session; they were wholly focused on ensuring young people got the care they needed. The provider had a holistic approach to providing bespoke support based entirely on young people as individuals. The provider and staff excelled at keeping young people safe whilst promoting their independence. Young people were always supported to make choices and had the utmost control over their support. Leadership at the service was inclusive and promoted discussions and open communication. The provider focused on continuous learning and improvement across the whole service.
