Date of assessment: 5 June 2025 to 19 June 2025. Prisima Homecare is a care at home service providing support to adults living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment there were 7 people receiving personal care. This was the first assessment of this newly registered service. We looked at all quality statements in order to provide a rating. The service has been rated good. We found the service was providing good quality care and support. The provider had a recruitment policy in place which ensured staff were recruited safely. People received their medicines as prescribed, however there were some documentation issues regarding patch rotation. This was addressed by the registered manager. Staff were competent and received training to ensure they carried out their role effectively. Risk assessments were in place to ensure any hazards were identified and actions put in place to mitigate risks. People were safeguarded from the risk of abuse. Staff knew what action to take if they suspected abuse. People received person centred care which took in to account their needs and preferences. Referrals to healthcare professionals were made as appropriate. The provider had governance systems in place to ensure the service was monitored frequently and any issues identified were addressed in a timely way.
