Date of Assessment: Between 10 and 24 March 2026. This was an announced assessment. EEZZ Staffing is registered to provide support to people living in their own homes. The service supports older people, and younger adults. At the time of our inspection there were 2 people receiving the regulated activity of personal care. On 18 March 2026, we gathered telephone feedback from relatives speaking on behalf of people using the service and undertook a remote review of documents. People were protected from the risk of abuse and harm. The provider had systems to record and learn from safeguarding matters and staff had completed safeguarding training. A robust recruitment process was in place. The provider had implemented additional recruitment checks, providing an extra layer of assurance. People were supported by dedicated, compassionate and well-trained staff, who knew people well. The provider ensured refresher training was completed when new people joined the service, supporting staff to maintain knowledge to the required standard. People’s needs were assessed prior to joining the service. This information was used to create care plans; these were regularly reviewed to ensure they reflected people’s needs. The service worked with external healthcare professionals to ensure people received join-up care. People, relatives and staff were regularly asked for feedback. Environmental risks were identified and managed. Risk assessments were created which outlined guidance for staff to follow to keep people safe. However, we found risks associated with specific illnesses were not always recognised. The registered manager immediately addressed this matter, and a risk assessment was put in place. People were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives and staff supported them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. The policies and systems in the service supported this practice. The management team promoted an open culture, and staff said they felt supported. The service used a digital care management system, which allowed the registered manager to monitor and respond to live data. Analysis of the information gathered supported the provision of additional support hours and was used to aid in investigating safeguarding concerns. The management team were clear about their roles and responsibilities and led the service well. The registered manager completed robust checks including observational visits to monitor individual staff performance and ensure people received good, safe care and support.
