The assessment was conducted remotely between 15 October and 2 November 2025, and we did not visit the office. Holistic Healthcare Leeds is a domiciliary care agency registered to provide personal care to people in their own homes. This was the first assessment of the service. At the time of the assessment, five people were receiving support with personal care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects services where personal care is provided this includes assistance with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where applicable, any wider social care provided is also considered. The service had a manager registered with the Care Quality Commission, meaning both the manager and the provider are legally responsible for how the service is run and for the quality and safety of the care provided. The service demonstrated a proactive safety culture. Staff were encouraged to report incidents without fear, and lessons learned were shared through team briefings and policy updates. Risk assessments were regularly reviewed and tailored to individual needs. Medication management was safe and effective, with clear protocols in place. Accidents and incidents were recorded, investigated, and monitored for trends to improve safety. Infection prevention and control (IPC) measures were in place, including staff training, use of PPE, and regular audits to ensure compliance. Staff received training and supervision. Care plans were outcome-focused and reflected people's preferences and health needs, with evidence of effective multi-agency collaboration. These were flexible and adapted promptly to changes in people’s needs. Leadership promoted transparency and continuous improvement. Governance systems included regular audits, staff feedback, and clear accountability.
