Date of Assessment: 21 July to 21 August 2025. The service is a care at home service registered to provide support to older people, children, younger adults, including people who may live with dementia, mental health or physical disability needs. At the time of inspection there were 10 people using the service and of those 8 people were receiving the regulated activity personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. This was the first rated inspection of the service. Staff spoke positively about working at the service and the people they cared for. People received effective care that met their needs. They were treated with kindness and compassion. Staff protected their privacy and dignity. There were sufficient trained staff who worked well with other professionals to ensure people's needs were met. People and relatives told us they received timely and consistent care from staff they knew. Staff received training to maintain high-quality care. Staff knew the care and support needs of people they supported, but improvements were needed to care records to reflect the care provided by staff. People were supported to ensure their health care needs were met and many people were supported to maintain or regain some independence. People were supported to take risks to improve their quality of life. Systems were effective to protect people to ensure their safety, however some improvements were needed to the identification of risk and to care plans for the management of risk to ensure people’s safety. People had opportunities to be part of the community and to access social amenities to improve their well-being. Medicines were managed safely. Systems were in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service; however some improvements were identified to care records to ensure people received safe, person-centred and consistent care.
