Date of assessment: 11 December 2025. Akash Training Agency Ltd provides care and support for people in their own homes. Not everyone using the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our inspection, the regulated activity of personal care was being provided to 7 people living in their own homes. This was the first inspection of the service. Staff were recruited safely and had received training to equip them for their role. They knew how to protect people from the risk of harm. People's needs were assessed, and care was planned to meet these. Pre-admission assessments were overseen by the registered manager who ensured they were comprehensive and provided effective guidance for staff. Staff were skilled and knowledgeable about people's needs and how they preferred to be supported. Care records included information from a range of sources, including the person, their relatives and guidance from other professionals involved. People’s person-centred care plans and risk assessments took account of their individual communication needs as well as their personal care and health care needs. The provider always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. People and their relatives told us the care and support they received was tailored to their needs. People were supported to express their views, and their concerns had been responded to. Governance systems were effective, and audits and reviews were used to drive improvements. Staff worked collaboratively with health and social care professionals to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes. People were involved in decisions about their care, and feedback confirmed they felt listened to. There was a culture of continuous improvement and of learning lessons from incidents to help reduce re-occurrences.
