Date of assessment 04 June 2025. Fens Healthcare and Recruitment Limited is a domiciliary care agency and supported living service registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care and support to people living in their own homes. At the time of this assessment 1 person were receiving a regulated activity from this provider. The CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. We looked at all 5 key questions and 34 quality statements during this assessment. Based on the findings of this inaugural CQC assessment we have rated them good overall. People were protected and kept safe. Staff understood and managed risks, including those in relation to infection control. The provider operated robust recruitment checks for staff prior to employing them and provided them with ongoing training and support. People were supported to take their medicines in a safe way. Appropriate assessments were completed before the provider began supporting people. Staff reviewed assessments, taking account of people’s communication, personal and health needs. Staff worked with agencies involved in people’s care for the best outcomes. Staff made sure people understood their care and treatment to enable them to give informed consent. People were treated with kindness and compassion. Staff protected their privacy and dignity. They treated them as individuals and supported their preferences. Staff responded to people in a timely way. The provider supported staff wellbeing. People were involved in decisions about their care. People were confident the provider would listen to any feedback and act on it. People received fair and equal care and treatment. People were involved in planning their care. Leaders and staff had a shared vision and culture. Leaders were visible, knowledgeable and supportive. Staff felt supported to give feedback and were treated equally, free from bullying or harassment. The provider worked with the local community to deliver the best possible care. The provider had established its quality assurance and governance checks to ensure they continued to provide a good service.
