Date of Assessment: 23 January 2026 to 4 February 2026. This service is a Homecare agency, registered to provide personal care for people living in their own homes in the community. They provide support to people with a range of different needs including people with acquired brain injury. Not everyone who used the service received the regulated activity of personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the assessment there were 3 people receiving regulated activity. There was an open and inclusive culture. Staff were supported through regular supervision, reflective practice and access to relevant training. Medicines were managed safely. Assessments and care records were detailed, person‑centred, and ensured people were supported in a way that kept them safe and respected things that were important to them. They reflected people’s goals, preferences, routines and risks. Staff teams were organised so that they worked solely with a particular individual. The provider collaborated effectively with health and social care partners, ensuring continuity of care and well‑coordinated support. Managers and staff had a clear understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005. Staff reported feeling very valued, respected and enabled. They told us managers were caring, flexible and supportive. Leadership was strong, visible and values‑driven. The registered manager and senior managers shared clear values that were centred on safety, dignity and independence. They all demonstrated a commitment to person centred, high‑quality care. All staff we spoke with consistently reflected these values in practice. There was strong oversight of risk, quality and staff well-being. Governance and oversight systems were well‑developed and embedded. Partnership working was well‑established with strong links across health, therapy, legal and community teams. The service demonstrated a culture of continuous learning, reflective practice and innovation.
