Date of inspection: 4 to 11 November 2025. This was the first assessment of the service since it was first registered with CQC. Dependable Care For You Ltd is a domiciliary care agency that provides care to older people, younger adults, people living with dementia, mental health needs, physical disabilities and sensory impairments, within their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects where people received personal care. This is help with tasks relation to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our inspection there were 9 people receiving the regulated activity of personal care. The culture in the service was overwhelmingly positive. All the feedback we received confirmed this. The registered manager, who was also the provider, was visible, open and transparent and welcomed feedback. There was a strong emphasis on teamwork and good communication across the service. The registered manager knew the importance of addressing any matters of concern and acted responsibly so any lessons were learnt. Staff were treated equally and understood their roles and responsibilities and felt supported to give feedback. Enough suitably experienced and safely recruited staff were deployed to ensure care was delivered as planned for, and at the time it was arranged. Staff knew people well and they provided person centred quality care. People were treated with kindness and compassion, and their privacy and dignity were upheld. People had choice of how their care was delivered and were encouraged to maintain relationships with family and friends. Infection Prevention Control (IPC) measures were in place and medicines were managed safely. People received a comprehensive assessment of their needs prior to support commencing. Associated care plans and risk assessments were developed and reviewed with people and those important to them so risks to health and welfare could be managed safely. Governance and oversight of the service was effective. A suite of audits policies and procedures was in place to support this. Staff had received a thorough induction; appropriate training and their competencies were checked through spot checks and regular supervisions.
