Assessment Dates: 24 September to 2 October 2025. This is the first assessment of the newly registered domiciliary care service, which supports adults and children with a range of needs including dementia, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities. At the time of the assessment, there were 131 people using the service. People consistently told us they felt safe and respected, and staff were described as kind, caring and responsive. Safeguarding procedures were robust, and staff felt confident raising concerns. Care was person-centred, with QR code monitoring systems ensuring timely visits and continuity. While medicines were generally managed safely, some documentation required improvement; these issues were addressed during the inspection. Staff were well-trained and supported, with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and professional development. The provider promoted a positive culture, with inclusive leadership and a clear commitment to continuous improvement. Governance systems were in place but required strengthening, as some audit processes failed to identify care planning and medication documentation issues. These were resolved promptly. People and staff described the service as well-led, with leaders accessible and responsive. Overall, the service demonstrated a caring, person-centred approach with a culture of openness, learning and collaboration.
