Date of assessment 15 January to 22 January 2026. S-Rock Care Services Ltd is registered to provide personal care to people living in their own homes. At the time of our inspection, there were 4 people receiving a regulated activity of personal care. People were supported safely. They had clear information within their care plans to support staff to manage risks. Leaders assessed risks relating to the environment to ensure people and staff were safe whilst care was being provided. Staff told us they felt well supported by leaders and received training and regular supervision. People’s needs were thoroughly assessed before care was commenced, and people’s care and support were regularly reviewed with them and their relatives where required. People were supported to be independent and have as much choice and control over their lives as possible, and people’s wishes were respected. People were supported by staff who knew them well. Leaders had a good oversight of the service and staff were able to access support when they needed this. The service worked well with other services and were adaptive and flexible to meet peoples’ needs. However, leaders had not ensured they explored gaps in some staff’s employment history. Additionally, leaders had not completed mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions where appropriate in relation to consent to care and treatment. This did not ensure the service could evidence that care and treatment were in people’s best interest. We raised this with leaders who took prompt action to address the concerns.
