The assessment was conducted remotely between 23 October and 23 November 2025, we did not visit the office. Right at Home North Leeds, Otley and Wetherby is a domiciliary care agency registered to provide personal care to people in their own homes. This was the first assessment of the service. At the time of the assessment, eighteen people were receiving support with personal care. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only inspects services where personal care is provided this includes assistance with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where applicable, any wider social care provided is also considered. The service had a manager registered with the Care Quality Commission, meaning both the manager and the provider are legally responsible for how the service is run and for the quality and safety of the care provided. Risk assessments were in place and regularly reviewed to maintain safety. Staff had completed safeguarding training and demonstrated clear understanding of safeguarding processes. Medication management systems were robust, and staff had received appropriate training to administer medicines safely. Care and support were delivered in line with best practice and evidence-based guidance. Staff had the necessary skills and training to meet individual needs effectively. Care plans were comprehensive, person-centred, and regularly reviewed to ensure they reflected current needs and preferences. Effective governance arrangements were embedded within the service, providing strong oversight and assurance of quality and compliance.
