Detailed information was gathered and documented in care records about the person receiving care, their needs and how they lived their life. Staff were respectful of people’s preferences and lifestyle choices. They involved people in their care and people had control over how support was delivered. People received support from a consistent team of staff who knew them well. Staff were well supported and received regular training opportunities. Appropriate policies and procedures were in place and staff were aware of their role and responsibilities, including in relation to safeguarding adults from avoidable harm.
