   Eminent Domiciliary Care Agency received a Good overall rating following a focused inspection of Safe and Well-led domains in April 2023, with ratings for Effective, Caring and Responsive carried forward as Good from the previous 2017 inspection. The service demonstrated safe care delivery, robust governance, a positive staff culture and effective engagement with people and their relatives.

   Strengths

   • · Staff knew people well and understood how to protect them from abuse, working effectively with other agencies on safeguarding.
   • · Safe recruitment practices in place including references, identity checks, eligibility to work checks and DBS checks.
   • · People received support from regular staff who knew them well and how they liked to be supported.
   • · Medicines administration, recording and storage followed safe systems and processes.
   • · Effective infection prevention and control practices with appropriate PPE use.
