   Cedar House, a small Christian Science-based domiciliary care agency serving two people, retained its Good rating across both inspected key questions (safe and well-led). The service demonstrated safe recruitment, effective safeguarding, strong governance through regular audits, and a person-centred culture aligned with the values of those it supports.

   Strengths

   • · People felt safe; one person stated 'I very much welcome the staff visiting. I do feel safe with their presence.'
   • · Consistent staff team with strong relationships; staff built good rapport including with internationally recruited workers.
   • · Robust quality assurance through regular scheduled audits identifying and acting on shortfalls.
   • · Positive, open culture with weekly staff meetings and regular feedback sought from people using the service.
   • · Effective infection control measures including PPE, staff testing and vaccinations in line with government guidelines.
