   This targeted inspection of Medcom Personnel Ltd was prompted by concerns about overseas staff recruitment practices; no evidence of harm was found and recruitment processes were deemed safe. The inspection did not assess the full 'Safe' key question and therefore no rating change was made from the previous Good rating (August 2021).

   Strengths

   • · Recruitment processes including DBS checks were followed to ensure staff suitability before employment
   • · Overseas staff had appropriate checks and visas in place, with shadowing of experienced staff
   • · Staff received a 13-week induction and role-appropriate training with mentorship and spot checks
   • · Sufficient staffing levels with adequate time allocated per care call
