   Comfort Call Durham received a Good rating across both inspected key questions (Safe and Well-Led) in this focused remote inspection covering 161 people receiving personal care. No evidence of harm was found, and people, relatives and staff were consistently positive about the quality, safety and leadership of the service.

   Strengths

   • · People and relatives described staff as 'caring', 'gold standard' and 'outstanding', expressing high satisfaction with care received.
   • · Consistent staff teams allocated to geographic areas, with new staff introduced to people before providing care.
   • · Medicines safely administered by trained and competent staff, with regular audits and no reported errors.
   • · Accidents and incidents recorded, analysed for trends, and lessons shared with staff via electronic instant messaging.
   • · Strong partnership working with GPs, speech and language therapists and the local authority to achieve positive outcomes.
