Strengths
· Staff understood how to protect people from poor care and abuse, were trained in safeguarding and knew how to identify and report abuse.
· People with complex needs had comprehensive support plans analysing behaviour and providing positive behaviour support.
· Staff received a comprehensive induction including mandatory training, the Care Certificate, and regular training in learning disability and autism.
· Staff received regular supervisions and appraisals and felt supported by management.
· The service worked within the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, promoting people's choices and least restrictive practices.
