Strengths
· People consistently reported feeling safe and very satisfied with the service, describing staff as kind, patient and caring.
· Staff received regular supervision three or four times a year and annual appraisals, with senior staff working alongside support staff.
· Comprehensive training programme covering safeguarding, infection control, moving and handling, medication and more.
· No missed visits reported; rota system was adaptable and centred on people's needs with an on-call system always available.
· Care plans were person-centred, regularly updated, and people were involved in their assessments and gave informed consent.
Kent Enablement at Home achieved a Good rating across all five key questions, demonstrating safe recruitment, no missed visits, and outstanding enablement outcomes with over 55% of people regaining full independence. The service showed strong person-centred care, effective governance, and a positive open culture praised by people, relatives, and staff alike.
