Date of Assessment: 20 July 2025 to 31 July 2025. Abhi Rose Homecare is a domiciliary care agency providing care and support to people living in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of our assessment the service supported 45 people with personal care. We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. We found the provider was meeting the principles of Right support, right care, right culture. The provider had a proactive and positive culture of safety, based on openness and honesty. There were appropriate policies and processes in place to keep people safe from harm and abuse. Risks to people were assessed and plans were in place to inform staff how to maintain people’s safety. The provider made sure staff received support, supervision and development. People’s care plans and risk assessments were reviewed regularly or when people’s needs changed, to ensure they were still relevant. The provider maintained close relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure care was delivered as per their expectations. Staff were kind and caring towards the people they supported. People’s care records were personalised and contained information about their likes and dislikes and how they preferred staff to support them. Members of staff encouraged people to maintain their independence and make choices about their daily care and support.
