   Rainbow Trust Children's Charity 1 was rated Good overall following a focused inspection of Safe, Caring, and Well-led domains, with all three key questions maintaining their Good ratings from the previous 2017 inspection. The service demonstrated strong person-centred care, robust safeguarding and risk management practices, and an exceptionally positive staff and leadership culture supporting families of seriously ill children.

   Strengths

   • · Families praised staff for being compassionate, responsive, and treating each family as individuals, providing tailored support during emotionally demanding circumstances.
   • · Robust risk assessment processes in place, including detailed community outing risk assessments and health/wellbeing risk identification during the assessment process.
   • · Safe recruitment practices with pre-employment checks including DBS checks and references before employment.
   • · Strong infection prevention and control procedures with sufficient PPE supplies and staff training.
