The service is registered to provide support for younger adults, dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health, people living with an eating disorder, older people, physical disabilities and sensory impairment. At the time of the assessment the service was not providing care for children or younger adults. An assessment has been undertaken of a specialist service that is registered for use by autistic people or people with a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, the service was not used by anyone with a learning disability or an autistic person. However, we assessed the care provision under Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture, as it is registered as a specialist service for this population group. The provider identified risk associated with a person’s health and wellbeing and developed risk management plans. Medicines were managed appropriately and administered as prescribed. The provider undertook an investigation following incidents, accidents, complaints and safeguarding and identified any actions for improvement. Staff felt they were supported by senior staff and felt able to raise any concerns with them. The provider had a range of audits to monitor the quality of the care.
