Date of assessment: 15 to 30 January 2026. The service is a care at home service providing personal and social care to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where staff do support people with personal care, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the inspection, the service was supporting 18 people with the regulated activity of personal care. This inspection was prompted by the age of the previous rating. We found the provider had maintained the extraordinarily high standards of care we found at the previous inspection. People consistently experienced high‑quality, compassionate and person‑led care that had a profoundly positive impact on people’s lives. Staff demonstrated a good understanding of safeguarding, and people told us they felt safe, valued and protected. Risks, while not always fully recorded in care plans, were discussed during staff induction and fully understood in practice. Staff used their strong knowledge of people to support them safely while promoting choice, dignity and independence. The quality of relationships between staff and people was outstanding. People and relatives consistently described staff as warm, respectful and “going above and beyond”. Staff listened meaningfully, involved people in every decision and adapted communication sensitively so everyone could contribute. This respectful, personalised approach helped people feel genuinely heard and in control of their care. Care was delivered by a regular, compassionate and well‑led team who knew people extremely well. Visits were timely, reliable and shaped around what mattered most to people. Staff took proactive steps to support people’s health, well-being and independence, encouraging positive routines, meaningful activity and healthy lifestyles. Medicines were managed safely, with strong partnership working ensuring people received responsive clinical input when needed. Outcomes for people were consistently positive. Monitoring showed clear improvements in well-being, confidence and independence, supported by skilled staff who noticed even subtle changes and acted quickly to keep people safe and well. Learning was embedded across the service, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Leadership was a significant strength. The registered manager fostered an inclusive, transparent and compassionate culture where people, relatives and staff felt valued. People and staff felt confident to speak up, knowing concerns or ideas would be taken seriously and acted upon. Strong governance, effective communication and excellent partnership working ensured people received seamless, coordinated care.
