Date of Assessment: 24 March to 15 April 2025. Routes Healthcare Preston is a care at home service providing support to adults living in their own homes. At the time of our inspection there were 76 people receiving personal care. This assessment was carried out due to the age of rating. The provider had good systems in place to analyse incidents and mitigate future risks. People received their medicines as prescribed. Staff were well trained and supported to carry out their role effectively. Risks associated with people’s care had been identified and managed to keep people safe. People were involved in devising their care plans and staff included them in reviews of their care and support. Staff knew people well and supported people in line with their needs and preferences. The provider was passionate about ensuring people received a high standard of care. They had a quality assurance framework and were committed to continuously reviewing and improving the quality of the service.
