My Homecare Tonbridge received a Good rating across all five key questions at its first comprehensive inspection since registering with CQC in March 2018. The service demonstrated safe, person-centred care delivery supported by robust governance, well-trained staff and effective partnership working.
Strengths
· People received care from regular, consistent staff who were described as kind, caring, patient and understanding
· Care plans were detailed, individualised and regularly reviewed to reflect people's needs and preferences
· Safe recruitment practices including DBS checks and references were in place for all new staff
· Medicines were managed safely with trained staff, completed MARs and regular audits showing no concerns
· No missed visits recorded; systems in place to monitor late calls and notify people proactively
