Date of Assessment: 13 to 20 November 2025. The service is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care to adults and children living with physical disabilities, learning disabilities or autism, dementia and mental health needs. This is the first assessment for this newly registered service. An assessment has been undertaken of a specialist service that is registered for use by autistic people or people with a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, the service was not used by anyone with a learning disability or an autistic person. However, we assessed the care provision under Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture, as it is registered as a specialist service for this population group. People’s care was planned around their individual needs and regularly reviewed to ensure it was responsive to people’s changing needs. Risk assessments offered guidance to staff about how to support people safely and gave consideration to individual and environmental risks. People were supported by sufficient numbers of staff who were safely recruited and well trained. The provider worked in partnership with other agencies to ensure people’s health needs were met and people were supported to make their own decisions and choices. Staff respected people’s privacy and dignity and encouraged people to maintain their independence as much as possible. People’s individual communication needs were considered and included in care planning and staffing decisions. The provider welcomed feedback and listened to people’s views and acted on any complaints. There were established systems in place to provide oversight of the care provided and action was taken to address any concerns and make improvements to people’s experience of care and the service as a whole. Staff felt valued by the provider and there was a culture of learning and compassion toward people in receipt of care.
