Date of assessment: 10 – 19 December 2025. Prestige Nursing Sleaford is a home care provider supporting older people living with dementia or physical disability who live in their own home. At the time of this assessment the service was supporting 26 people with the regulated activity of personal care. This was a routine assessment, completed as our last visit to this service was in 2017. The service was safe. The provider had a strong proactive and positive culture of openness and safety. The service worked effectively with other agencies to ensure care was delivered in a person-centred joined-up manner. People were supported by well trained and competent staff. People were supported to receive their prescribed medicines in a timely manner. People were safe and protected from avoidable harm. The service was effective. People’s needs were assessed and personalised care plans were in place. People were supported with nutrition and hydration. Staff worked together with people to effectively deliver coordinated, timely and consistent person-centred care. People were supported to live healthier lives through positive encouragement and compassion led care. The service was caring. The provider and staff always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion, and respected their privacy and dignity. The provider promoted people’s independence, so people knew their rights and had choice and control over their own care. The service was responsive. The provider supplied appropriate, accurate and up-to-date information in formats that were tailored to individual needs. The provider made it easy for people to share feedback and ideas or raise complaints. The provider made sure that people could access the care, support and treatment they needed when they needed it. People were supported to plan for important life changes. The service was well-led. The registered manager promoted a supportive culture at the service through reliable leadership and dedication. Leaders actively promoted staff empowerment to drive improvement. The provider had clear responsibilities, roles, systems of accountability and good governance. The service was embedded within the local community it served. The provider focused on continuous learning, innovation and improvement across the organisation and local system.
