SureCare Batley & Wakefield, rated Requires Improvement overall at its first inspection, demonstrated good caring and effective practice but was let down by late and unnotified care visits, ineffective medication oversight, unanalysed incidents, and governance systems that failed to ensure quality. While staff were compassionate and care plans person-centred, the provider must strengthen call monitoring, medicines audits, complaint resolution and end-of-life care documentation to achieve consistent safety and well-led standards.
