Meridian Health and Social Care – Nottingham is a domiciliary care agency providing personal care and support to people in their own homes. At the time of the assessment, the service was supporting 169 people with their personal care needs. We carried out our on-site assessment on 14 August 2024. This was an announced assessment. This assessment has been completed following the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) new approach to assessment: Single Assessment Framework (SAF). The provider was told an assessment was going to be starting 48 hours beforehand. Our offsite assessment was concluded on 31 January 2025. During this assessment we looked at all 11 quality statements and found areas of good practice. We found a stable, well-led service.

The service demonstrated strong person-centred care, safe medicines management, effective governance and a continuous learning culture led by an engaged registered manager.
