Date of assessment: 9 January 2026 This assessment was the first assessment of the service since registration. Carefield – Supported Living is a ‘supported living’ service and is registered to provide the regulated activity of personal care to people, primarily with elderly people living in their own homes. Not everyone using Carefield – Supported Living received regulated activity; the CQC only inspects the service being received by people provided with ‘personal care’; Where they do, we also take into account any wider social care provided. This assessment was carried out with a site visit to the office location and the supported living service. This assessment was carried out by an inspector. We looked at 33 quality statements as part of this assessment. We gave the service 72 hours’ notice of the inspection. This was because we wanted to make sure someone would be available to support us with the assessment. The site visit was carried out on 12 January 2026 and 19 January 2026. We gathered further information remotely from the service such as policies and information relating to people’s care and support.
