Date of Assessment: 16 September to 9 October 2025. We carried out this assessment because of safeguarding concerns we received. The service provides care and support to adults in their own homes. We found 3 breaches of legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment, staffing and governance. We found missing and incomplete risk assessments relating to the health, safety and wellbeing of people using the service. The provider did not carry out robust recruitment checks or deploy sufficient numbers of staff to make sure that they could meet people's needs. There was no evidence staff had completed an induction programme to prepare them for their role. The provider did not have effective governance systems in place to monitor and improve the quality of the service. However, people were treated with kindness and compassion, and staff respected their independence, dignity and privacy. Staff knew how to report and follow up on incidents or accidents and felt supported and valued. We have asked the provider for an action plan in response to the concerns found at this assessment. In instances where CQC have decided to take civil or criminal enforcement action against a provider, we will publish this information on our website after any representations and/or appeals have been concluded.
